Jim is the struggling father of a dying six-year-old daughter when he arrives for his first day at an unusual job – he and his team must continually keep their eyes on an experimental TV from the 1950s. He learns from a training video that they are maintaining a quantum loop between human perception and the TV to avoid a catastrophic rift in our reality that could destroy our world.

After they accidentally discover the star of the 1970s cop show has been alive inside the TV for decades without aging, Jim enlists the help of his co-worker Eva to try and use this unstable tech as a last ditch effort to keep his daughter Daisy alive until they can find a cure for her terminal illness.
As Jim navigates how to save Daisy while avoiding getting caught and reported to the mysterious organization running this strange project, he uncovers the truth about this seventy-year-old bunker, his co-workers, and must ultimately come to terms with the reality of his own consciousness to make the most important decision of his life...
